Full time employment

Historically employers have engaged employees under the traditional guise of a trial or training period. Once the employee passed their trial period they then were offered an employment contract  with typical parameters and benefits. That contract was the employers commitment and over time employees would accumulate additional paid time off, pension and other benefits. The new changes will immediately entitle a new employee to all the benefits that were formerly available to proven personnel.  Including and not limited 9-12 months of pregnancy/ newborn paid time off and potentially 3months paid time off for the second parent. The adds a new dimension of costs increase foe employers. Which is of particular concern to small and medium size companies. It makes complete sense for companies to employ all new hires in what would have formerly been a trial period through a professional agency such as JCare Recruitment. Recruitment and Staffing agencies can still place staff with a zero hour contract under the terms of the changing regulations.

Seasonal Employment

Certain industries have seasonal demand for an expanded workforce. Retail and light manufacturing during Holiday Seasons and Hospitality during Summer are two obvious examples. Under new regulation seasonal workers could also qualify for full time benefits. Hiring for your busy season through JCare Recruitment will mitigate your exposure and is also a useful support tool to have a team working for you to ramp up your workforce. We have a pool of people ready to support your plans or your urgent requirements and we are constantly growing our available talent for physical and administrative tasks.

Part-time and urgent Workers

Not every position requires a full time employee. The evolving regulations do not appear to recognize the practicalities of business. We have availability of personnel and can accommodate a partial week or partial day schedule within certain minimums.

JCare also has extensive experience in urgent placement in the event you have employees on holiday or sick. Though we generally plan with our clients in advance of employee holidays. No one can plan for sickness or temporary absenteeism. We have been very successful in assisting our  employer clients in challenging circumstances. Also it is common in the Recruitment field to charge significantly escalated rates in the event of emergency. When we are able to support our clients in these circumstances; our rates remain standard.

Contingency/ Discovery

At JCare Recruitment we are constantly developing our relationships with Employers. We welcome the opportunity to share our service categories of recruits, our rates, standard terms of engagement and any other questions you might have on a Discovery call.
